OK, I must be doing something wrong here. I have installed the python2.4 version of all of the python named dependencies for gdesklets. python2.4 python2.4-gtk2 python2.4-gnome2 python2.4-nautalis python2.4-xml But when I do "python2.4 /usr/bin/gdesklets", I get the same result.
