Hi Steffen,

what you describe is imho a bit different from the original bugreport.
The init script works fine for starting, stoping and restarting the
service, as long it is configured correctly.

In your case it is not, but the wzdftpd binary still exits with an zero
exit code, so the init script *can't* catch the failure.
A quick look at the code indicates that it actually should exit -1, but
for some reason it doesnt (because it forks itself into background?).
If one starts wzdftpd with -s (stay in foreground) it exits with -1 (or
255, who cares, != 0.

Will try to dig further, but I don't promise anything.
