libx11-dev is an indirect dependecy of gtk+2.0 because the following packages depend on libx11-dev: - libxcursor-dev - libxext-dev - libxfixes-dev - libxft-dev - libxi-dev - libxkbfile-dev - libxinerama-dev - libxrandr-dev - libxrender-dev - libxt-dev which are pulled in, anyway.
