This bug is fixed for me with latest OO.o Debian package (2.0.4~rc3-1).
No more crashes and I can open any document.

The newest version of openoffice.org crashes as soon as one tries to
open a file (i.e. in writer). The last message I get in the terminal
from which I started the program is something like:
