Thanks for the fix! Just a note - I had to force-update fontconfig cache
# fc-cache -f to have "normal" width DejaVu fonts back. Just updating ttf-dejavu package installed correct fonts, but I was still seeing condensed DejaVu in gnome-font-properties.
