Package: iceweasel Version: 3.0.9-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
when trying to download any file, the download finishes successfully, but by that time, iceweasel is frozen. i have to kill it and restart every time. i was able to reproduce this with two separate users (on the same machine), with safe mode and with a completely empty ~/.mozilla folder. even opening the download window will hang iceweasel. the only way to see the download window without a hang is to exit firefox, delete ~/...../downloads.sqlite, and restart it. of course, this only works until i try to download a file... then we're back to where we started. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages iceweasel depends on: ii debianutils 3.1.3 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii fontconfig 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libc6 2.9-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.1-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.16.1-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libnspr4-0d 4.7.4-2 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libstdc++6 4.4.0-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii procps 1:3.2.7-11 /proc file system utilities ii psmisc 22.6-1 Utilities that use the proc filesy ii xulrunner-1.9 1.9.0.10-1 XUL + XPCOM application runner iceweasel recommends no packages.
