The following line should not contain the ___phpinfo_ part.
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['host___phpinfo_'] = 'localhost';
This could very well be the cause of your problem, weather this is a
result of the closed bug I'm not sure though.

I installed a new server with Debian Lenny last week.
phpMyAdmin was working, now it's not.
Is pMA still vulnerable?
