A note for these bug reports: much of the development on regina-normal has been queued up behind the fact that the current version (circa 2009) includes a KDE3-based GUI, and much of the new development has been queued behind the (fairly hefty) port of the GUI (KDE3 -> KDE4) and the underlying build system (autotools -> cmake).
This port has been going on for some time now, and it is (finally) almost over: upstream we are down to final cleanups and testing. I hope to have new debian packages in the archive in early September. I expect this should fix #556318 (with the updated build system) and #624882 (the pending upstream version is building fine on amd64 for me at least). The other RC bug (#624588) involves failed unit tests for the python bindings, and I will need to see how those three architectures deal with the new packages when they're ready (but again, with the new build system I'm at least optimistic about this also). - Ben. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
