As a datum (I reported a duplicate of this bug as 801488), I removed both
libxmlrpc-lite-perl and libsoap-lite-perl, and still see the crash. So I
don't think they're to blame, as asserted earlier on this bug. They also
would seem unlikely causes for the gdb/valgrind output I reported in that
bug.
