Package: libjack-jackd2-dev Version: 1.9.10+20150825git1ed50c92~dfsg-4 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package ships (or creates) a broken symlink. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): 0m32.0s ERROR: FAIL: Broken symlinks: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libjackserver.so -> libjackserver.so.0.1.0 The symlink target is in jackd2. Why isn't that in a library package? If it is a private library, there should be no public .so symlink being shipped. Otherwise libjack-jackd2-dev needs to add Depends: jackd2 (= ${binary:Version}) (or rather the libpkg where libjackserver.so.0.1.0 gets moved to). cheers, Andreas
