Dear maintainer(s),

With a recent upload of xmobar the autopkgtest of xmobar fails in
testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of xmobar
from unstable ppc64el. It passes when run with only packages from
testing. In tabular form:

                       pass fail
xmobar from testing 0.36-2
all others from testing from testing

I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. "xprop: error:
No window with name xmobar exists!" isn't new, it appears (once) in old
logs too [2].

Currently this regression is blocking the migration to testing [1]. Can
you please investigate the situation and fix it?

It looks like this was due to #973623. We rebuilt xmobar with newer
binutils on ppc64el (see #980939) and autopkgtest doesn't report this
error any more.

Best,
