Salsa and didn't see any merge requests or an obvious branch for
Buster's 1.8.2 (just the debian/1.8.2-1 tag).

Thank you for looking into the problem.
I was doing maintenance patching of the infrastructure today morning and
this rendered all my data running on OpenAFS on Debian Buster (latest
patches) inaccessible after reboot of the servers :(
