Hi,
has anyone thought of having a look how other distributions solved this
problem? I am pretty sure some might already have solved that problem.

Hi Andreas,
I don't think that uploading an old libmail-imapclient just for
imapsync is a good idea. It's upstream maintenance won't continue.
And if I see correctly this package isn't in an unworkable state
because of the Debian maintainer ship, but because of an upstream
incompatibility with

Any news on this?
I have the same problem. I tried to downgrade using
snapshot.debian.net, but I didn't succeed, because some library in the
evolution-data-server package segfaults then because of some missing

Is there at least some easy temporary workaround?

It's a bad idea to run any kind of daemon, which is accessible from the
outside, as root. While papercut needs to start as root to bind to the
nntp port, I can't see any reason why it should not drop it's privileges
to handle requests.

am-utils 6.1.5-8 appears to have been uploaded as a native package in error,
