我花了好幾分鐘，摸不著頭腦，後來看看 gettext 的 msgfm
各位好：
昨日我把我的 potato upgrade 成 unstable，upgrade 完成之後發現當我從遠端
登入之後卻無法輸入中文 (big5)。
在 potato 下我 setenv LC_CTYPE zh_TW.Big5，在顯示和輸入上都沒有問題 (因
為我主要是從 Windows 遠端登入使用，所以在 console 前和 X 下的中文問題我
並不在意) 。更新到 unstable 之後，我把 /etc/locale-gen 下的 zh_* 等全部
uncomment，並且執行 locale-gen，在 /usr/lib/locale 下面也看到有 zh_* 的
檔案，目錄
我把原本的2.2r0升級為2.2r3之後...
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
但當我xrdb Netscape.ad之後,menubar的中文又可以看見了...
怪乎如何解決呢??

「功」、「許」這類末尾碼為 '\' 字元的字時，我們都不再需
要加額外的 '\' 字元，就可以直接用 msgfmt 來編譯了。舉個
例子，以往我們在翻譯 po 檔時:

msgstr "這裡有許多選項。"
我們都要將 msgstr 改成
msgstr "這裡有許\多選項。"

p.s:我已經在BBS上發問過了，有人建議我改裝
apache 1.3.19，並用complier的,這是我的最後選擇
，因為這樣以後如果要移除或加東西對我都不太
方便，因為小的剛剛接觸Linux，所以安裝及移除
都試用dselect...
還有就是如果在dselect上沒出現的軟體而用手動抓
