Hi Bin Lan, Please see Preferences (or Configruation ?) -> General Preference-> Sending, there is encoding options there. If you still meet the problem, you can try force it to GB2312. I haven't met any problem in this area. BTW: you'd better post a screenshot or give a link to screenshot, to m

I dont think that is a problem of my locale. I have no problem with any other gtk2 software in my box. Beside, I can actually see the Chinese characters when I type them in the Sylpheed's compose editor. I also can read all the emails in Chinese. That problem is whenever I click send or draft (w
