If you have made changes to sbuild and debootstrap and you want those
changes to be merged, the way to make that happen is to open b

Is flavour intended to be something like Debian vs. Devuan vs. Ubuntu?
If so, could you please use "vendor" instead, since that is the
pre-existing term for that distinc
As now sbuild and debootstrap manage chroots on per-suite basis, they rely on
scripts present in /usr/share/debootstrap/scripts.
This poses a problem, as suite names from different distros may occasionally
overlap, as happened with debian/devuan jessie.
After the split Debian continued to use its
Hey folks,
On and off, I've been hacking on tasksel for quite a while to improve
the UI there and add better support for things like Blends. I've made
some progress in my hacking, but I think I've hit a brick wall and I
need to change tack. :-/
What I've ended up doing so far is hacking tasksel t

Hello,
I tried to do a synthesis of past August/September thread on the
finalization of DEP-14 [1], see:

Hi all,
Asking for people who have experience as Debian developers and who are
annoyed by the Ubuntu bug count in the QA (debian) page. These bugs are
trivial/minor, but still, I'd like to clean up.
Let's take for example
