Strange that you should not know where the patch is Goswin since you
were the first and only one to mention it in this thread.
The answer is "in the upstream bug report".

It should be noted that patch only affects the IMS replies apt gets back
such that the hash file will correctly be replaced and pass signature
validation during a window of cached but outdated hash or key rollover.
Pipelining itself is not related.
The end result of both failures though is only differed by the presence
or absence of "timeout" in the message so can easily be confused by users.
