I respect Stephen Frost's opinion and I'm in fact not in a position to argue that opinion. But, as a Debian user I ask, if I want to use a Debian kernel patch can't I expect to be able to use a Debian kernel? As a desktop user I have to be able to manage the kernel security by myself, following security alerts and finding security patches? Is it practical or feasible?
