Hi, I have a local package pool which contains backports to woody. To be able to do package pinning, I have Release files containing the following:
Archive: woody Component: main|contrib|non-free Architectures: i386 Origin: mysite Label: mysite/woody Description: foobar my sources.list lines are deb http://my.local.mirror/debian woody main contrib non-free deb http://my.local.mirror/mysite woody main contrib non-free That way, I can do pinning with "Pin: release o=mysite,a=woody". However, apt-cache policy does seem to display neither the Origin component of an archive, nor the path after the host name. Thus I cannot distinguish if the package being installed is plain woody, or my local backport. I am now wondering whether I made mistakes when I created my Release files, or if apt is at fault for not displaying the entire path. What is the Label for? Did I miss any docs?
