* there is a new 'setting' (in the menu) to choose between
elastic-energy smoothing (old way) and
thin-plate-energy smoothing (new way , default) of meshes
* smoothing is done on idle time (thin splate is complex)
* can use keys 0...9 to set point labels, and 'ijkl' to finely move points
