/system/run-vmblock\\x2dfuse.mount
Removing the \ from the beginning of the line make dpkg -V verify the
package successfull.
So either dh_md5sums should remove \-es, or dpkg should handle the
format md5sum produces.

option to dpkg-source. I have two packages where I'm changing much more
than the build-dependencies automatically, for example.

I just stumbled about the same bug and google showed me that it is fixed
in Ubunutu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/137191
Please fix it in Debian, too.
