About 50%-70% of the installs (Kde i386 PXE) runs fine but
the root passwd typed in is wrong. I don't think I'm to tired
to type in 6 letters, 4 of them are our schools name, but

Definitely,
the root passwd problem is actually a keyboard settings problem during
PXE install. Using characters that are constant among different
keyboards solves.
