Package: libstdc++5
Version: 1:3.2.3-0pre8
Severity: minor
The package description of the various libstdc++5* packages
(libstdc++5, libstdc++5-dev, libstdc++5-3.3-dev) talks about
v3 and g++-3.0 .
I need to try to compile gnat for our solaris intel boxes and was
looking at the issues wrt conflicts between some gnat binaries and gcc
binaries (gdb, gcov, for example) and was looking at the information you
guys have since I have Debian at home ;-)
Anyway, I notice that gnat depends on gcc 3.2.

Yes, the exception

we installed this by chance. However I made the symlink as well,
before actually trying the to build again. So it seemed to me that
adding the symlink to /usr/lib fixed things.
I didn't try building af

This is still in update_excuses, although the package is removed in
unstable.
As I see both libgcc1 built from 3.2 and 3.3 in the package pool, is
it possible to move th
