Bug#618748: gcc-4.5: Use insane amount of memory

Package: gcc-4.5 Version: 4.5.2-5 Severity: important Tags: patch Since the switch to gcc-4.5, gcc uses insane amount of memory (on armel more than you can get on a 32-bit system) to build QEMU. It's a regression from gcc-4.4 and should be fixed by the following patches:

Re: gcc-4.6 build failure on kfreebsd-*
