update I found that building the fs/proc/base.c file would generate a
compiler error. I've got the latest GCC-3.3 package (3.3.5-12), and get
the kernel code with BK. Any other people running on Sparc seeing

I'd been using the gcc-3.3 packages up to 3.3.3-6 or 3.3.3-7 without
problems. Release 3.3.3-8 first one to have problems, and when I
saw 3.3.3-9 I was hoping the
compressed fremap.i file produced by adding
'-save-temps' to the compile command.
