Package: gcc Version: 4:3.3.2-1 Severity: normal
Just want to let you know, that there is probably something wrong with dependencies for gcc and/or g++ in "testing". Here is what I got today: Unpacking replacement gcc ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/gcc_4%3a3.3.2-1_sparc.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite `/usr/bin/g++', which is also in package g++ Preparing to replace g++ 4:3.3.1-2 (using .../g++_4%3a3.3.2-1_sparc.deb) ... Unpacking replacement g++ ... After that I used apt-get -f upgrade and the installation was successfull. But I think this is a bug. --JS -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: sparc Kernel: Linux iipl 2.4.21 #1 Thu Aug 7 18:10:47 EDT 2003 sparc Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages gcc depends on: ii cpp 4:3.3.2-1 The GNU C preprocessor (cpp) ii cpp-3.3 1:3.3.2-4 The GNU C preprocessor ii gcc-3.3 1:3.3.2-4 The GNU C compiler -- no debconf information
