Package: libmudflap0-4.3-dev Version: 4.3.2-1.1 Severity: normal
If you give from as NULL in an argument to recv from (e.g. nbytes = recvfrom(sock, buffer, sizeof(buffer), 0, NULL, NULL);) you get a segfault. But it's quite legal to set from to 0, and hence fromlen to 0 in calls to recvfrom() -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libmudflap0-4.3-dev depends on: ii gcc-4.3-base 4.3.2-1.1 The GNU Compiler Collection (base ii libc6-dev 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Development Librari ii libmudflap0 4.3.2-1.1 GCC mudflap shared support librari libmudflap0-4.3-dev recommends no packages. libmudflap0-4.3-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-gcc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
