I am unable to find a resolution for an archived bug report #37902 by
Giuliano P Procida, regarding segmentation fault in fflush(). I am
experiencing the same thing on Red Hat, and suspect that knowing the
solution to this bug report would help me. Do you know how it was resolved?

I am trying to run a piece of software in a debian 2.2.2 distribution
and get the following error almost immediately:

I'd like to point out that making a symlink is not sufficient to
close these kind of bugs.
