to be fixed in glibc. I'm not going to parse/use a tool to read the PAM
configuration file /etc/environment. That config file is for setting up
the _login_ environment, not the system boot envi

Could you apply /etc/init.d/mountkernfs explanations about each
filesystems into /etc/init.d/mountvirtfs for future notes?
Plus this patch disables "set -e", see #232122.
Except for this, it's fine for me.

I think there are not much requirement for supporting i586 nowadays.
Thinking about maintaining costs and compilation time (it's more
precious than that you guess), at least I don't support it.
