The bug is still present in libc6 package version 2.3.6-6, since
the test included in #226716 still fails under 2.4 kernel. Note
that libc6 packages provided by Petr Salinger *do* fix the bug.

Btw, the same patch should be fine for glibc 2.4 as well, since the ca.po
translation (in which [EMAIL PROTECTED] is based) hasn't changed yet.

For the HPPA port, guys from parisc-linux are doing very good job for
