(root or regular user) I get the following:

As mentioned in the above report, I have another machine that is not
showing either of the two segfaults on these two bug reports, and it is
not running libpam-mount.

bug to libpam-mount.
After removing libpam-mount and rebooting, all my login pathological
behavior disappears, including this other bug[1], a segfault in gdm.
After re-installing libpam-mount, all the segfaults return.
