Package: libc6.1
Version: 2.2.3-1
Package: sendmail
Version: 8.11.3+8.12.0.Beta7-7
The libc6.1 package for Sid/Alpha seems to be missing the getipnodebyname(3)
function. Near as I can tell, this function is supposed to be in glibc 2.2,
and the latest sendmail won't run without it. Not being able to run sendmail
makes me sad. :-(
If getipnodebyname(3) is provided in another package, you should regard this
as a bug report against sendmail, for not requiring that package.

You reported bug in glibc which is fixed in recent releases or isn't bug
in it, so I'm closing this bug.
