Problem with some X apps in headless configuration

Hello, one of the machines I'm running palinux on is a true "headless" (735/125) that I'm using remotely via a X terminal app on a PC. Most af the applications work without any problems (windowmaker, dillo, gimp etc.), however two apps just refuse to come up, sylpheed (both regular and claws) a
