I have an HP 715/50 with 32 MB ram and a debian
testing installation. every time I want to start
"mysqld" it hangs and i have to kill it with s9.
Does anyone experienced the same? any solutions?

Hi Henry,
I had the same problem with my 712/100 a few weeks ago. Look in
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 for a line like "DefaultColorDepth" and make sure it
is "8". According to a post to my question about this problem, most HP
graphics cards on work in 8bpp right now.
