Is there any way we can reconcile the differences between what Debian
requires and what GNU prefers? It seems like a lot of extra work to
provide separate documentation (even just dummy man pages) with the
similar information.

Reference Manual? It sounds related to argc or argv but I can't figure out

What is the GNU objection to man pages? I've found them easier to use
personally, especially if I just want to check the prototype of a library
