The basic shape of the better plan is well understood. There needs to be
some kind of interface to attach to pfinet and provide it with new
interfaces via ports. Then daemons a la pppd can be written in similar
fashion as using the tun device on BSD.

This is not a good approach to use in the long term. It is only really
viable for the case of exactly one interface.

I think it would be great if the hurddocs project
(hurddocs.sourceforge.net) could do a thorough overall infrastructure plan
to have translations of all the hurd docs and web pages, i.e. start with
the structure to have the whole web tree in parallel in several languages
and wait for the individual

I have done somes french documentations, preparing an incoming french hurd
web site. I think the "easy guide" is very important for installation steps,
but the Thomas Bushnell, BSG's paper is very important too to under
