i have translate the Hurd-Installation-Guide from Neal H. Walfield
to german so this post is writing in german, sorry :)
Also, wie oben zu lesen, hab ich besagtes Uebersetzt. 99% zumindest.
In Zeile 77 ist der Begriff 'backing store' zu finden, den ich nicht
richtig uebersetzen konnte.

Sure you can do that, but currently doing it won't have real
advantages over using a GNU/Linux system for the same purpose.

perl-modules are not installable.
Is someone working on them?

Is alpha.gnu.org in your sources.list? It needs to be if it's not.
Otherwise, please paste an exact error message.

a hacked (and working) build of perl is in alpha. you need to add
alpha.gnu.org to your etc/apt/sources.list. the default one has a
10 matches
