Hi, I rebuilt mozilla today with Barry's and Nyu's patches (there was one MAXPATHLEN issue left or had been newly introduced). If I get gconfd[1] to run before I start mozilla, the main user interface starts up fine (otherwise, it crashes for some reason I do not know yet). However, while I can

Hi, I finally managed to get GNOME 2.8 starting up mostly fine today. It took quite some time to get all the packages built (I did that mostly some months ago) and figure out the issues, the latter was mostly done by Neal. A screenshot is here: http://people.debian.org/~mbanck/media/hurd-gnome.
