Apparently Gürkan's box doesn't have a fixed dpkg-shlibdeps, so the
packages are not being built as they should. Do you have a current
version somewhere?

where I have Hurd installed doesn't have a good connection, so I'll have to
move the packages somehow to test these.
Once I do that, I'll try to build my X-depending packages and others.
