There's no plans for anything like arexx-ports, that I know about. But
they could be implemented on the hurd using ipc (which for some reason
is usually called rpc on the Hurd), and it might be really cute. To
do it takes a few different things:

In porting the Hurd to other Microkernels I wonder where it puts the use
of IPC. I see IPC is pretty heavy in use in Mach but hardley mentioned in
L4 and I do understand IPC is important in the Hurd.
