I have a zone (for arguments sake let's call it foo.com) -- I want to
present a different set of RRs based on the source IP of the request.
Again, for arguments sake, let's say from 192.168.0.0/24 I want to have
www IN A 192.168.0.20
and from anywhere else, I want to say
Is there any way to do this with BIND8 or will I have to go to BIND9 or
another DNS server such as PowerDNS ?
1: Define acl's that define each IP group of IP's you want to uniquely
service;
2: Define views that match-clients appropriate ACL's to the
appropriate zone files that are munged

Arg. Not quite enough awake, I read that you were using bind9.
Yeah, you need to upgrade, or find a different server. bind8 doesn't have
anything close enough to views.
