seit dem dist-upgrade vom 12.1. habe ich probleme mit munin.
Bei erstellen der Graphen bricht das cron skript ab.
Ich konnte das Problem bis zu dieser Zeile zurückverfolgen: (wegen
Paranoia ein bisschen anonymisiert :)
(Borg ist ein Rechner um dessen Statistik es geht.)

the Version 1.4-3 of libapache-mod-ldap seems to have some Problems with
umlauts "üöä" and so on.
It cuts the login names at the postion of the first umlaut...
Are there any workarounds or packages with do ldap auth for apache with
umlauts?

use it since a few months with postfix on woody out of the box.
i got around 100 Spam hits for 30 Users in a week.
less than 1% false positives.
But still a spam get through. (1 to 5 mails per user and day) :/

take a look at /etc/cron.daily/apache.
There you will find a include for a file /etc/apache/cron.conf
and a few shell commands dealing with the settings within it.
And somehow you can change the behavior to the one you wanted.
So you have to look at two places for the task you want.

I'm using it here and it works fine. (As an loganalyer can do)
BTW, what analayser can do things like click-trials and estimate vistis,
based on solid guesses or cookies?

That's what i'm recently thinking about a lot, too.
The big Problem in my opinion is the use of an LDAP server to auth Windoze
users.
My direction is now using PAM and varius ldap modules with openldap for most
of the Linux ware and pam_smb (or similar) for Windoze.
Also Exchange is an poor LDA

I used to uses some of RDDTools, BigBrother, mon,... but still need to login
to a few servers.
Despite that Bots (and i will try that earlier mentiond NetSaint, too :)
so i'm interereset in that kind of thing too...

src on host B allows tcp from host A, host A has destinations woth tcp.
Host A ist a woody, Host B a potato.
