Hi, ..seeing recent the exim vs postfix thread, and having both apache-1.3.3x and apache-2.0.5x available on a box, is obviously beyond overkill, it's pointless. ;-) So I'm choosing one. Figuring out "which one?" has asking myself a lot of questions.
..more importantly, do I lose _anything_ worthwhile such as performance, functionality or "memory foot print acreage", going from apache-1.3.3x to apache-2.0.5x ? I can see that writing code to do the same things in apache-2.0.5x, will be different from how is is done in apache-1.3.3x. What I don't see is how that bugs me. The one thing that leans me towards the newer of the 2, is I suspect it will survive 1.3 by as much as 1.3 survives what came before apache-0.9.x or whatever it was. -- ..med vennlig hilsen = with Kind Regards from Arnt... ;-) ...with a number of polar bear hunters in his ancestry...
