Thanks for the info, and for not flaming me like I deserve : )
I checked env, and QT_XFT=0. I had a quick look through /usr/doc and found the
directory and had a quick look through. Guess I've got a bit of reading to do,

It's still crashing, with the debug output below. Should I send a bug report
to kde, the quanta developers, here, or what? I'm afraid my ignorance is

read the News offline.
However I don't know how to make it, can somebody help me?

until you see "walk through desktops". Change the key bound to that action.
Enjoy the Gimp :=)

said before back: opening any html file works fine. It only crashes when
I try and open .shtml files. Well, it also crashes when I right-click a
perl-cgi and select "open with quanta". Could this be traced down to the

Can you please send me one of your files that won't open? I'll try to
reproduce the bug here. If I can, I'll file a bug with Debian and forward it
to the Quanta auth

The kvirc site (www.kvirc.net) has debian packages for kvirc 2.0.0 but not for
any later releases and I didnt't find references to kvirc in woody, unstable,
