Hi Folk's,
I suddenly have a problem with KDE 3.0 on debian unstable. I don't know
why, but when I start my session, the KDE window (how do you name it ?
splash screen ? loading panel ? ... ?) don't close until one or two
mouse clicks on it... It stops it when the wheel icon (the last one of

Hi,
I've added:
kwifimanager
showimg
krename
and updated to today's (tonights) CVS:
k3b
I build a new package for kopete also, but that segfaults for me - the new AIM
protocol over the oscar plugin doesn't seem to work too good and the old one
Hi all,
thanks for all your postings!
Actually, while writing, I accidently hit a key and I thought I canceled the
mail - but it was sent. While re-writing the message, I found out that these
packages are in the unstable tree and gave up (for now) :-(
Sorry, ML!

I have just updated my KDE setup from:
deb http://ktown.kde.org/~nolden/kde/sid/i386/ ./
Now I have a kdesktop process that has run out of file handles after
allocating 1018 pipes and does not display the desktop. knotify gives a SEGV
on every invocation.

I am happy to report that the new set of debs for version 3.1.0+rc6 of KDE
corrects this problem. I am now able to print correctly from all
applications that enable printing. Furthermore, since this is also a new
CUPS installation from old LPRNG installation, it is really very nice indeed!

Hello,
I've just apt-get(ed) the kde 3.0.99 packages from here:
deb http://ktown.kde.org/~nolden/kde/sid/i386/ ./
I'm using Debian SID, and kdeinit says something about a relocation
error in libkdecore.4. Has anyone came across similar problems?
Hi all,
I wanted to update from KDE3.0.5a to Karolina 3.1 but the following packages

my sources.list:
deb ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/Linux/debian/ stable contrib main non-free
deb http://wh9.tu-dresden.de/kde3/karolina ./

Am I correct that the KDevelop Manual is *not* part of gideon-doc? It
appears to contain only the README and copyright files.
