This bug is a discussion on fixing a major usability problem in KMail

I think something bad happened when I forced the installation of kiofoto3
as now my machine cannot start any ioslave processes. Nothing appears on
the desktop and no communication pipes can open (i.e. no network traffic).
I've tried re-install KDE but that doesn't appear to work. I'm running

Figures.. Antialiasing is a total mystery to me. I installed the truetype font
package, set up the XF86Config and still nothing

No, I have not noticed. That's good then.
Of course, it will take a while before KDE 3.1

Hi all,

Hi!
It seems that localisation for kdeextragear is missing in kde-i18n-de (maybe
also in packages for other languages...). So, some kde applications are only
available in english at the moment...

Hello!
I just installed KDE 3.1 for Woody from kde.org. I'm impressed by your
excellent work! Thanks!
What I'm missing is a KDE meta package that automagically drags in all
the nice stuff. In the official archives there is "kde", "kde-extras"
and so forth. Of course, it doesn't work for KDE 3.1

everything seems to be in order, i've got other X apps antialiased, even

Great work!
Everything has been working fine until todays update.
It seems that kfmclient doesnt work (the "home" button on kicker for example).
In xsessionerrors it says:

Thanks for the 2 suggestions guys. I think my QT may be the latest but I
will check. This is happening on my work machine so I'll not be able to
test this until Monday but I'll get back to the list about what happens.
