How do I examine and reconfigure the system variable x-session-manager? Yes, a total noob question...but with KDE I usually have no need. I have to start KDE from the command line with startx /usr/bin/startkde and want to try a new window manager. -- Comments are appreciated, Bob

I want xplanet to run in the background of my windows in KDE 3.2 on my unstable system. I do not wish to run World Clock, grown to fill the window, however. Can someone help me have a rotating globe, ala xplanet, as my KDE background? -- Comments are appreciated, Bob
