The kde package should have a version number equal to the latest minor
version of KDE available for install plus the Debian maintenance number.
Say, if the latest version of KDE available is 3.2.1, then kde should
have something like 3.2-1 as

So I would suggest that method as a temporary
measure to fix knotes. I think the upstream authors should really take a
close look at the way knotes handles the upgrade of old notes, since it
seems that something is broken there.

The upstream fix was only committed to HEAD, and has not yet been
backported to KDE_3_2_BRANCH. I have asked the maintainer to backport
the fix, if he doesn't do it, I will do it myself. Anyway, this means
that this bug will hopefully be fixed in one of the next kdepim
uploads.

Hi,
I think the xmms plugin should be split into a seperate package or
dropped altogether, and the dependencies altered accordingly.
I was planning on renaming this bug accordingly in light of your reply,
but I've been a bit busy...
Should I proceed or file a new one?

The subject line says it: When I select Speak All from the

Hi. This is a problem with konq-speaker, and I'm experiencing it also.
I'll try a rebuild against KDE 3.2 and see if that fixes things.

I recently upgraded to KDE 32. and initially it went fine except for the
