I didn't notice what was going on here at first since I had assumed
that domi had actually checked that kdemultimedia didn't build-dep on
libflac-dev which it does. I am not sure what the problem is and it
may even be fixed by now. If the upload of kdemultimedia 3.2.2-1 still
fails like before I
kdemultimedia_3.2.2-1_i386.changes uploaded successfully to localhost

I have spent a large amount of time debugging the problem mentioned
in bug 240256. In fact, I have looked through the kmail (kdepim)
and kio_smtp (kdebase) source code.
The problem is not with KMail. It is not technically even with

I have a problem with Xfree86 under debian 3.0r2 (flavor 2.4)
when starting KDE, the startup procedure stops after initializing
peripheral.
the problem has been noticed on a specific configuration : an STX board

Hopefully KDE 3.2.2 can go into Sarge soon, it has been out to
packagers since April 4 so hopefully the remaining packages can be
uploaded soon. The only major problems I saw so far were that
kdemultimedia will need to be rebuilt on all archs since the libflac
