today i tried to install my network printer which is connected to my sister's
computer running Win XP. So
i entered control center -> peripherials ->printers and added a new printer.
Then i realized that it wasn't cups
so i deleted the printer (it wasn't printing anyway) and i started cups

I am still working on installing KDE 3.2.2 in woody. Thanks to all the
people who already contributed to my previous questions. I will try out the
suggestion tonight and post the outcome.
There is still another problem: Plenty of founds are not recognised by KDE.

after updating my Debian SID machine, my fonts started to look really weird.
The edges of the fonts are red, blue and green. I tried to turn subpixel
rendering on and off in KControl and I also tried different options for
subpixel rendering: rgb, bgr, vertical rgb, vertical bgr. It does
